DeAnna Greulich, started riding when she was 10 years old. She was trained and mentored by her grandfather, Richard Bates, who was a very accomplished and famous horseman from central Minnesota. DeAnna fell in love with learning how to train and making the horses better. She attended horse shows and furthered her education by keeping her horse at a boarding facility so that she could ride with other people, learn from them and take lessons. When DeAnna moved to Wisconsin in 2001, she was excited to see a large horse community and found a quality training barn for her horses. She trained under the watchful eye of Kate Reuter, a Gran Prix rider with the Dutch stallion ‘OnLine.’ DeAnna began winning Grand Championships in both the Hunter and the Jumper classes, winning money at some of the bigger show venues in the country.
